Review of Saints and Soldiers (2003) by George K — 30 Oct 2008
What a surprise and a well done movie. "Based" upon a true story (to what degree, I do not know) this focuses on some men who escape from being Nazi POWs and their attempts to get back to US lines.
Among them is a devoutly religious sharpshooter and those who are not so devout. While not a "Christian" or specifically religious film, the message is clear. Very low on gore, almost nothing on language, this is a great movie and one I'd term a MUST SEE for fans of WW2 movies.
