Review of Saints and Soldiers (2003) by Jason O — 28 Feb 2009
I'm always a sucker for a "based on a true story" movie, but apparently it's just "based on actual events" - and the "actual events" that were portrayed were pretty minimal (according to Wikipedia); the main plot wasn't a true story.
Oh, well. Not the best acting. I liked the message of faith. (Interestingly, Mormonism isn't mentioned specifically, but it's clear if you read between the lines; the movie was released by a Mormon production company.
