Review of Saint John of Las Vegas (2010) by Sammie C — 01 Aug 2010
Amusing, Steve Buscemi leads a cast of strong supporting actors through a mediocre plotline that ends in a fun twist. Loosely related to vegas and compulsive gambiling the story leads you around the bend without much sense of a tangible narrative structure is ultimately enjoyable but not fantastic.
Sarah Silverman's character, who is obsessed with smilie faces, is perhaps the highlight of the film with her goofy antics and amusing relationship with Buscemi's character. An okay film, but not great.
