Review of Safety Not Guaranteed (2012) by Chinmai R — 29 Nov 2013
It's definitely not half as good as critics say. The first half of this movie is entirely pointless. The second half is better but still not great. Safety Not Guaranteed discusses regret and melancholy existence, and there are a few moments that do it really well, but the rest of the movie is neither that funny nor that useful to the plot or development of the themes.
A few clips would suffice to get the point of this film, instead of wasting an entire hour-and-a-half like I did.
