Absolutely terrifying. One of the most disturbing films I have ever seen. Also, I'm pretty sure Richard E. Kelly ripped off his Patrick Swayze character in Donnie Darko off the motivation speaker at Wrenmoore or whatever the name of the place Carol ends up moving to is called.
Truly unnerving. The ending will stay with you forever.
