Review of Sadgati (1981) by Phil P — 20 Apr 2010

I'm surprised it took me so long to watch this, and I'm very surprised at how long and well my ignorance of its premise was maintained. Well, it's about time I've finally seen Deliverance, as it's probably had some influence (however minute or overt) over the majority of horror/thriller films I've enjoyed from the past 3+ decades.

The tension and the realism is so impressive, so well explored, it has been hard to shake off even days later.
