Review of Sadgati (1981) by Zachary M — 08 Oct 2016
I don't think there has ever been a movie that is remembered for two such bizarre things; a brutal rape scene and a scene involving dueling banjos. But it does have a pretty unique and interesting concept behind it that often gets over looked: what if something bad happens to you, you take a brutal revenge, but the person you direct your furry at may not be the person who wronged you? And because of the violent rape scene this aspect is almost always overlooked now a days.
And that is a shame, because the base idea itself is an interesting one and is worth a much more in-depth look at, maybe in a different movie.
