The ultimate man vs. nature film. On one hand it contemplates whether modern society has truly progressed in comparison to the simpler hillbilly culture that the main characters encounter. It also provides some great adventure and entertainment when the main characters are forced to survive in a harsh, primal climate with no modern amenities.
