Review of Sadgati (1981) by Tommy H — 29 Mar 2015
When you watch most horror movies you get the idea that it's trying to scare the girls and thrill the guys, but this is a horror movie for the guys and touches on all kinds of things that would be most horrific to men.
Not to say this movie alienates women in any way, but being out in the open, in the woods, man vs. man vs. nature, that's a very masculine horror movie, where a feminine horror movie would be more about being chased down a tight, dark alleyway by a spooky man with pantyhose over his face.
I know the movie is listed as drama and classic, but for a drama movie it sure scared me.
