Review of Saboteur (1942) by Bruce W — 18 May 2009
Highly enjoyable with some great set pieces. Why not bump into a freak show? Why not have a finale on the Statue of Liberty? The wall of fire at the start was ace too. I would possibly argue with the blurb on the back describing the pace as breakneck but dunt really matter, still good stuff.
I got the 14 film box set and have arranged them into chronological order, so I'm kind of hoping the rest are as good as this - I'm a bit of a Hitchcock newbie.
