Review of Rust and Bone (2012) by Andrew L — 29 Mar 2013
This is a really good movie. While some foreign films can be bland at times, this one never feels that way. The story is done very well and can be seen as heartfelt and troublesome at times. The director did a great job at telling the story as well.
A lot of the camera shots were interesting, especially when during the scene with the truck. The acting was very good. Matthias Schoenaerts does a great job as the main character and makes you feel sympathetic towards his character, which is hard to do, since the character can be seen as a bad parent, etc.
Marion Cotillard does a great job with her role as well. Definitely worth the rent.
