Xavier recounts the past, wanders aimlessly in the present, remeets his old friends, hopefully to find his true love in the end. What a nerve-wracking movie. The movie-makers know which girl you want him to be with, and it takes so long for them to give it to you, and then they take it away.
If the movie ended differently, I would have hated the film.
