Boring as batshit. This film is sold on the fact that it is shot in one take. And apart from that and the good use of costume, it barely passes as a film. Unless you're old, have a good knowledge of Russian art and history, or are simply completley boring, do not even attempt to watch this absolute waste of time.
Clever marketing, and the fact that everyone assumes you're un-intelligent if you don't appreciate its artistic merit, are the only reasons this film has any sort of audience.
