The concept is amazingly original, and this film will still be probably one of the most unforgettable movie experiences I will ever have. But it can be draggy and slow at some points. Then again, I was never one to be interested in history.
The costumes are gorgeous, and the music is soothing. And this makes museum visits seem more interesting. But I also find the character accompanying the narrator quite annoying at times.
