Review of Rushmore (1998) by Habibiehakim — 29 May 2022

Rushmore is just a very silly love story about a 15 year old Max who have a crush with his own teacher, a very pretty and beautiful teacher that somehow someway attracted to an 80 year old Bill Murray more than Max, it's silly and I don't quite like that kind of concept, the movie did kinda a right thing in the middle of the film but then ended up in the way that I don't like half of it, means that I like that they do with that way to him but I don't like that they do that way to him if you get it, I like the style of the movie, I think this is the first movie that Wes Anderson started to use the usual "Wes Anderson style" even though it's still a little bit but I like it, like Bottle Rocket the movie fills with good music, I like each of the performances, I did enjoy the movie all the way through, and I laugh at some of the comedy scene, but again the story is somewhat more important than all of that and it is the biggest cons of the film for me, Rushmore is not a bad movie it's more of like a very silly movie but not in a good way.
