Review of Rushmore (1998) by Jake W — 10 Mar 2014
It's a great film with Anderson's then-fresh, now-notorious style of direction and writing. It felt as though it were leading for a more grand finale with a sort of big moment of relief or demise or something aside from a casual end as it is anticlimax.
Aside from that the film is almost flawless, very unique, and uncomfortably charming.
