Review of Rush (2013) by Siwakon S — 20 Dec 2015

A pretty solid action movie that is a good look at the dangerous world of Formula One. The races are filmed pretty well, especially the ones where it's raining and hard to see where the drivers are going.

My problem with this movie is that it feels a bit detached, and I didn't have that emotional connection with the characters. Simply said, there's really no one to root for. Lauda is so unlikable, and Hunt is hard to take seriously.

I didn't really care about their relationships with the women in their lives. I didn't really care who won the championship in 1976. So while I was caught up in the races, the other stuff didn't really work for me.
