Review of Rush (2013) by David F — 04 Jun 2014

I wasn't sure I really wanted to watch this movie, and I was convinced that my wife wouldn't like it, but we were gripped within 5 minutes, and that feeling didn't go away until the end.

This compelling movie explores obsession from 2 different angles, and the rivalry between 2 very contrasting personalities, forging a mutual respect for each other that transcends their differences.

I am certainly not a motor racing fan, but this movie wasn't really about the sport; it could just as easily have been about tennis or ice-skating. I thoroughly recommend it to anyone.
