"Rush" is a masterpiece of sports cinema. An utter masterpiece. Taut, tense direction from Ron Howard, compelling performances from the lead men, a phenomenal and shocking true life story, and a roaring score from Hans Zimmer.
A gripping examination of human ambition and the lengths to which men will go to attaint those same ambitions. The leading men are perfect foils, the cinematography phenomenal. May be the best sports film I've ever seen.
Must see cinema. Can't say enough. Rent it, buy it, borrow it, see it on the biggest, loudest set possible.
