Review of Rush (2013) by Ray M — 21 Jun 2014
I was around when all this was happening so was waiting for ever for the release. Not disappointed in the least. Yes it's definitely over-romanticised but it portrays the period of play-boy racers and the utter lack of safety of the period perfectly for me.
James Hunt was a larger than life character portrayed brilliantly by Hemsworth - I can say this from memory. Brühl as the seemly emotionless Lauda is great. The race sequences are just breath-taking and I'm a huge F1 fan.
In summary just one of the best crafted films I have seen for a very long. Richie Cunningham done good :-).
