Review of Rupture (2017) by Astor_ — 09 Aug 2018
A single mother is abducted by a mysterious organization that injects chemicals into her and subjects her to fear-inducing experiences to further their dark agenda. She found many other captives who went through the same thing, in the facility where she was held captive. Each was forced to face and experience their worst fear as deliberate experiments.
The settings of the facility were particularly unimpressive, with bad colour combination, nothing compared to the Saw series, which falls under a similar genre. It really spoils the whole film, since it's really visually crap to watch through.
Scares and horror moments feel clichés and forced.
Too many unexplained make the film feels incomplete towards the end, especially since a sequel usually seems unlikely with this type of bad film.
