I thought this film looked pretty out there, but it's directed by Ryan Murphy, who made Nip/Tuck which I really liked. This film is definitely not for everyone and as much as I like quirky coming of age flicks, this one just didn't do it for me.
I really never got into the film or cared for any of the crazy characters. Even though I didn't like the film, there were some good scenes, good music, cool shots, and great performances in this film, which made it tolerable for me.
Overall this film had a lot that I liked, but the story and the crazy characters were just too much for me, so I just can't recommend this film.
