Good human drama. Original plot, well directed by Sidney Lumet. Ending feels a bit rushed though, and a bit too predictable. Still a great thought-provoking and intriguing drama.
Good performances all round. River Phoenix is superb in his role, as is Christine Lahti in hers. Martha Plimpton once again proves what an under-rated actress she is.
