Nice little coming of age movie for River Phoenix. His only Oscar nomination, I found it funny he was in Supporting when he really was in every scene of the movie and it was more about him. His whole family did a good job and it was nice to see a young Martha Plimpton performance.
And pleasantly surprised this was written by the mom of Maggie and Jake Gyllenhaal.
