A compelling, beautiful film about having to face the consequences of your mistakes. Arthur & Annie Pope (Christine Lahti & Ed Crowley) are war protestors, and after blowing up a napalm lab they have been on the run from the FBI with their two sons ever since.
Danny (river phoenix) ends up having to face his own choices, whether to run.. or stay with the girl he falls in love with. This film really is a classic, and River Phoenix does one of his most outstanding performances.
