Review of Runner Runner (2013) by Tim M — 03 Oct 2013

There was a good movie somewhere in there, but what hit the screen was not it. Terribly clumped together story pieces mildly saved by the acting of Ben Affleck, Justin Timberlake and Anthony Mackie.

Side note: Leonardo DiCaprio is listed as a producer on the film, and I have to believe it was a case of just adding his name because he's friends with other actors in it to get a few more people to pay to see it. Clearly (or at least for the sake of making myself feel better) he, Timberlake, and Affleck didn't have any say over the final product of this movie, I can't believe any of them would look at this movie's final product and be satisfied with it.
