Review of Runaway Bride (1999) by Diana S — 01 May 2009
Clunky (silly, farfetched, contrived, etc.) but the cast is so strong (especially Julia and Joan Cusack) that I enjoyed it in spite of myself. Might have had something to do with the very late hour. As with most movies, had the writing been a lot better, the movie would have been a lot better.
Visually, it was quite nice.
