Review of Run All Night (2015) by Farron K — 24 Mar 2015
Decent action movie. Kind of a reverse version of Training Day (takes place over one night, rather than a day). Liam Neeson is his new badass Taken persona of One Man Army, Ed Harris is his usual mob boss self, Joel Kinnaman (who I swear I've seen before) does a good job as Neeson's son, and Common (a rapper, evidently) is a strong hitman antagonist.
The dialogue suffered from being sped-up in a number of spots, and the burns on Common's face seem to mysteriously vanish by the end of the movie, but overall Run All Night has a compelling story of redemption and revenge that makes it worth a watch.
