Review of Rumble Fish (1983) by Karolina M — 25 Mar 2009
This movie wasn't bad but it I felt more time was spent on the style and presentation then the story. This felt like Coppola was trying really hard to make an artsy flick more so then a compelling drama, also the acting in it is pretty awful, minus Rourke.
Rourke is the only saving grace to be honest as he puts on one of his best performances. By the end of the movie I was so anoyed with Dillon I just wanted it to be over. Check it out if you're a Coppola fan or an Outsiders/S.
E. Hinton fan. Heads up though, this is no where near the excellence that is The Outsiders.
