Review of Rudderless (2014) by Alexandro R — 04 Sep 2015
A man who is seemingly happy, and has the world, has his life taken away when he loses his son. the movie follows the dad (Sam) on his journey to come to grips with what happened, and along the way he finds himself, and his son, through his sons music.
the movie fails to grip any one true emotion, and kind of pulls you up and down until it comes to an end. I gave it 4 stars because it was a great story, and was well acted (especially the chemistry between Crudup, and Yelchin), and directed.
if you are in the mood for a heartbreaking movie, with some intermissions, and twists, this is a pretty good choice.
