Review of Ruby Sparks (2012) by Brendan G — 04 Nov 2012
The moment Ruby appeared in Calvin's apartment, I knew exactly how this movie was going to end (and you will too). Apart from the obvious plot and predictable characterizations, the film was enjoyable to watch and more humorous than I expected.
Zoe Kazan does a phenomenal job at playing Calvin's ever evolving dream girl. For that as well as my occasional chuckles, I'm willing to give Ruby Sparks an average rating.
