It was an impressive concept that was unfortunately executed so horribly. So repetitive and boring with parts that simply did not make sense. It seemed to be an interesting and fruitful collaboration when I take a look at the directors and actors, but it was sincerely too long and tedious for me to keep up.

Of course the acting by Dano and Kazan seemed to showcase their chemistry and real life relationship, but it was just too much and way too little.
