Review of Ruby Sparks (2012) by Rebekkah S — 30 Sep 2015

I know a lot of people have trouble with this movie because it didn't stay light enough and it didn't end dark enough but I think thats really the best part. It goes down the path that is real likely.

*Spoiler* This is a good example of what would happen if you had total control over someone you loved. Calvin made her and could change her at will and he demonstrates this to her at first out of frustration to prove a point.

However Calvin isn't a bad person and as he stated earlier in the movie he never intended to write her again and so finally he sets her free. Most people wish it ended there but I'm happy it doesn't.

We see her again free with no memory of him. He set her free but she found her way back because ultimately they did love each other.
