Why do I love this movie? No reason. And it's only idiots who will hate it, because they will be expecting something that simply isn't present in Rubber: reason. Perhaps there's some undertones about the re-incarnation and the fact that they all roll into Hollywood at the end, but maybe that's exactly what the movie is about - feeding audiences this re-incarnated cash-in garbage with plots that scream "no reason".
Or, maybe not. Maybe there's just no reason. Fantastic stuff is Rubber, and honestly, don't look for answers, don't try and justify what's going on while watching it, just remember: no god damn motherfucking reason.
It's insane. Oh yeah by the way, I do think the movie should be renamed Padding (padding, padding, padding!).
