Review of Rubber (2010) by Diana A — 20 May 2015
This movie could have been great if they stuck to the tire storyline. Instead they are self indulgent and instead of letting the message (or lack thereof) stand for itself, they underestimate the viewer.
The "viewers" in the movie were an unnecessary addition from filmmakers that were afraid to let their pretty decent idea stand on its own. I would have raved about this movie if all it entailed was Robert's storyline and the pretty impressive filming, but instead they cheated us by using crutches.
The trailer shows every single interesting scene in its entirety.
