Review of Route 30, Too (2012) by Bob M — 17 Mar 2018
"In Route 30 John Putch showed the world that the folks in Lake Woebegone don't have a monopoly on rural craziness. To prove the point John has created a sequel, Route 30 Too. I, and all the folks in Chambersburg, look forward to its premier at the Capitol Theatre on September 8th and 9th." --Mayor Pete Lagiovane.

John Putch, auteur of this totally wacky, tour de farce, has enjoyed a wonderful career as an actor, director, writer...and now he gives us the sequel to his lunacy calling card, ROUTE 30. His cast totally buys into the concept and the result is one of the weirdest escapades in filmdom. You owe yourself a trip down Route 30, Too! --Ft. Lauderdale FF.
This is John's Blazing Saddles --Pam Putch.

Funny, touching and a great story. - Herald Mail.
A unique spin on a lot of universal themes. - Herald Mail.
The second film in the trilogy is totally different. The first one was like a chamber piece. This one is like a symphony composed by Daffy Duck! For this kind of low-budget film, it's got a lot of actors and special effects, which is nuts! I am particularly interested to see how he winds it up. -Curtis Armstrong.
Loved the 2nd helping of Route 30 films. Please do not stop, in fact try for a TV show. This is like merging Family Guy and the Dukes of Hazzard. Kidding of course, but absolutely loved both films and had to let you know. Brilliant work, still laughing and I watched it last night. .
