"John Putch's movies are a hoot" - Susan Swope.
The best movie ever!!! Glad I was able to make it to the premiere...wouldn't have missed it for the world. - Kathleen Zebroski.
We have seen it three times now and are just blown away every time.,,JP, thanks so much for a once in a life time night !!! You have made an instant classic and the best film ever shot in PA...And the cast shines with flawless performances, Bravo Zulu to all!!!! - Frizzi.
Enjoyed the movie and Q & A. Sunday.thanks! Loved seeing apple orchards, round barn etc. Actors. Great! - Anna Lovett.
Kudos to Putch, the crew and the cast for another stellar production! - Denise Bonura.
Charming and Exhilarating.
Fun.
Little movie, big heart!
Best one of the three! I laughed out loud a lot. I especially love the way the actors captured the dialect (in all three) and the subtle use of colloquialisms like "take a pitcher" and "once-t". So many great lines....like "known him since vo-tech" and my very favorite...."Is that Hortense?" I take these movies on my ski trips to Salt Lake City and play them for the guys that grew up around Chambersburg when we meet up every year. - Rob Wile.
I think this one was the best of all three! I just loved seeing 'bits and pieces' of Chambersburg and the surrounding areas and t-shirts from familiar restaurants, etc... It was great how the stories came together as it made me laugh a little and was heartwarming at the same time. I just can't say enough great things about it! Great job cast and crew! - Cathy Wolfe.
What a fantastic job on Route 30, Three! We enjoyed every minute of it! Fantastic storytelling, great editing, superior directing, etc. If you don't win more awards than the other two movies combined, I'll be surprised. - Dan D.
The Route 30 Trilogy is a delight for anyone who's ever lived, or thought about living, in a rural area. John Putch has given us what he knows from his childhood - the places, the themes, the eccentric but lovable characters (and they are indeed characters). It's warmly hilarious without resorting either to sentimentality or to irony, a loving poke at life in the slow lane along a once-major American highway. From ghosts to aliens, from elephants to Native American exorcisms, with a dash of CIA intrigue on top, audiences will enjoy the locals' foibles in the wilds of Fayetteville. .
