One can't blame Jon Stewart for feeling somewhat guilty about Iran imprisoning a citizen after a Daily Show comedy sketch is misunderstood by their government. This explains why the movie he made about it seems too limited in scope, missing an opportunity to tell a bigger story about a country most of us know nothing about.
It does, however, appear to tell both sides of the politics truthfully in what becomes essentially a well-acted prison drama.
