Review of Rosewater (2014) by J. Scott F — 28 Aug 2015
Jon Stewart is one of my favorite celebs so naturally I wanted to see this movie. On top of that, Bernal is one of my favorite "foreign" actors (he often appears in Mexican movies). It's a good story and I like some of what Stewart did in telling backstory, but it's also less compelling than I think Stewart wanted it to be.
I don't know if the fault belongs with Stewart or in the story itself.
