Roman Polanski's American debut is undeniably one of the most influential psychological horror films ever made, and though its plot structure has been countlessly emulated in so many films of its kind since its release, the slow-burning fear and suffocating paranoia of this satanic masterpiece- only amplified by Mia Farrow's career-defining performance- remain as gripping and powerful as the day it was released.
