Review of Rosemary's Baby (1968) by Rex L — 23 Nov 2010
Not so much scary as completely and utterly creepy, the main event seems to be the ending. Otherwise it's mostly a paranoia swirl with secretive husband on top. The cast was impeccable with the casting of the satanic neighbors, one of which is legendary Ruth Gordon from the lovely Harold and Maude.
Mia Farrow, so vulnerable and innocent is a victim pure and simple, with no true ulterior storylines. Watch that ending though, and you'll understand why it's worth watching.
