Review of Rope (1948) by Markellus R — 05 Jan 2010
Rope is a great experimental picture--Alfred Hitchcock uses long tracking shots throughout the picture. Throughout the whole picture Rope takes place in an apt where two gay men kill a man with a rope for fun, locks him in a big chest and uses the chest as a table for guests and friends to arrive.
Jimmy Stewart knows something is up but doesn't quite let the audience off the hook. Rope has a lot of suspence I like this film a lot.
