An interesting cinematic experiment. But why did Hitchcock choose to add in the actual murder scene at the film's start?! This lowers the level of suspense by roughly 20%. (Is there or isn't there a body in the chest.
.. wait, yes there is... we saw it at the beginning.) So, minus one star for you, Hitch!
