Review of Rope (1948) by Alex K — 22 Jun 2010
Another captivating work by the great Alfred Hitchcock. Long, elaborate takes are usually visually interesting, and having the film be essentially one take is just awesome. Although it isn't really one take, due to the limitations of film, and there is one cut in there for some reason.
But still, it's well acted, well written, and well directed, which makes it a very good movie.
