Review of Rope (1948) by Christophe C — 16 Mar 2013
Loved it. Hitchcock rarely misses and this is one of this better movies (of which there are a lot). I loved the idea of a "one-take" movie and he did a great job with choreographing the cuts and working the action into the scenes.
There were moments of pure suspense as the party went on. Granger and Dall do a great job of showing tension and attempting to hide that nothing is wrong-which is where every ounce of suspense in this movie comes from.
