Review of Rope (1948) by Mark W — 14 Feb 2010
Incredible production on this one quick, easy and still as professional as a movie made in months. The idea of division is heavily thrown at us as the two central characters feel that they have the power to do things as they are "superior" to others.
Division at this time was probably more prominent and was a great idea to make this movie proving how wrong it is to be so single minded. Great suspension and several close victim discoveries as the party guests are joined by a hidden corpse, in fact their eating off of the bodies temporary resting place.
