Review of Rope (1948) by Bradford G — 18 Dec 2009
More a curiosity than anything else. Some of the transitions to keep the idea of a continuous take are clunky and the story is a little dispassionate. Still, it has great dialogue and if Hitchcock had been able to film it 30 years later without the moral code - just imagine.
