Review of Rope (1948) by Sgt. C — 24 Mar 2015
A taut little suspense mystery that plays like it's on stage. The two leads have a great energy in this distilled take on Dostoevesky's Crime and Punishment. Hitchcock is written all over this with it's macabre details, and playful sinisterness.
