Review of Room (2015) by Daniel D — 22 Feb 2016
An emotional roller coaster of a movie. Tense, devastating, and finally inspiring, this movie makes the viewer run a gauntlet of emotions. The acting is truly exceptional and Brie Larson will be justly rewarded for her performance with a well deserved Oscar.
On a side note, I don't normally say this, but I feel that this is one adaption that is better than the book. While I enjoyed the book, incorporating the five-year old's narration but not relying exclusively on it made for a more immersive experience.
