Review of Room (2015) by Aïko G — 16 Mar 2016
Most kidnap stories I remember are told from the perspective of some detective or cop. This movie gives you a completely different view, which makes this haunting but fulfilling. The bond between mother and son is a constant feeling of hope and is acted out by the two actors perfectly.
That string of hope makes Room extremely suspense, sad, disgusting or joyful. Hopefully none of us have to undergo what the main characters had to endure, but Room gives you a good look on how terrible it has to be.
